UVM Researchers: Recently, many of you have written to me with questions and concerns about the current hiring climate and its impacts on our research enterprise. Earlier this month, our planned Research Forum with Richard Cate,
VP for Finance and Administration, had to be cancelled. We have rescheduled the meeting for next week. Richard and I will be there to talk about the challenges we are encountering and what steps the University is taking to address them. The meeting will also
be available live for remote participants (see link below). As with our previous Research Forums, there will be opportunities for questions and discussion from the audience.
