I'm not sure who asked about this subject originally, but I heard a
speaker on this subject at a women's  health conference and he was
excellent.  His name is Larry Dossey, MD and he has a book entitled
"Recovering the Soul: A Scientific and spiritual Search"  Bantam, 1989.
