 ..MUCH COLDER WEATHER WILL RETURN TO EASTERN NEW YORK AND ADJACENT
WESTERN NEW ENGLAND ON TUESDAY...

AFTER A MILD START TO THE WEEK...IT WILL FEEL MORE LIKE WINTER THAN
SPRING ACROSS NEW YORK AND WESTERN NEW ENGLAND BY LATE TUESDAY. A
POWERFUL COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP SOUTHEAST FROM THE EASTERN GREAT LAKES ON
TUESDAY BRINGING STRONG GUSTY WINDS...RAPIDLY FALLING TEMPERATURES AND
PERHAPS SOME THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA.

IT WILL BE VERY WINDY ON TUESDAY AS SOUTH WINDS OF 2O TO 40 MPH WITH
HIGHER GUSTS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AS THE FRONT MOVES SOUTHEAST.
FROM THE MOHAWK AND HUDSON VALLEYS SOUTH IN NEW YORK AND FROM SOUTHERN
VERMONT SOUTH IN WESTERN NEW ENGLAND THERE WILL ALSO BE THE POSSIBILITY
OF THUNDERSTORMS ON TUESDAY. THE FRONT WILL ALSO MARK THE RETURN OF MUCH
COLDER AIR TO THE REGION AS TEMPERATURES WILL FALL THROUGH THE 40S AND
INTO THE 30S DURING THE AFTERNOON.
