I have been trying to locate standards, reports, or literature discussing
hot fluids (coffee, tea, Hot chocolate, etc.) and the danger of burns
caused by spills.  In particular I am looking for standards or guidelines
that may describe the safety of beverages served at specific temperatures.
 
I have contacted the American Burn Association, the Shriners Burn Inst. and many other organizations but have not had any luck.
Can you offer me any advice?
