This is a call to all those libraries out there that would be proud to display
their computer system to our computer consultants.
 
We are presently planning a new library, and are now at the stage of
planning the computer system to be installed.  We have a fabulous idea
of what we want - from touch screens to online databases to
networked cd-roms, from computer labs to network ports in all study
carrels, from access within the library to access anywhere in the states.
We are not trying to plan the "virtual library" but rather a computer
system that complements our print collection.
 
We are trying to be as forward-thinking as possible, but our computer
consultants would like to visit a few libraries that are now on the cutting
edge of computer services.  Any volunteers?  Also, if anyone would like
to make recommendations of other libraries, that would be appreciated
as well!!
