I agree with Bill, blood pressures may not always be the first selection
for test options for various reasons and that falsely elevated pressures
secondary to partially compressible vessels are an additional pain in the
vascular behind,  however, experienced technologists generally know when
the audible Doppler and the waveform do not jive with the funky pressure
obtained. I know everyone hates to hear it, but hey, there's always the
proverbial "TOE pressure".
