Hi Madeline and List People,
I thought the purpose of setting up "virtual networks" was, in addition to
other things, was to relieve people of Geographic and Demographic baggage?
Community networks could then establish "outside relationships" which could
benefit internal community processes.
IMHO, access may boil down to a local issue, but once connected, not
taking advantage of the geographic independence (along with all the neat
internal community work you can accomplish with PPTP and trusted Domains)is
just plain foolish.
