Teton Pass was a couple of rope tows set up in the pass at a place known as
Telemark Bowl. It was opened for early season skiing in the pass until Snow King (the
"town" ski area in Jackson, Wyo.) opened for the season. It opened in Fall of 1947,
offering skiers a ride for 10 cents - cheap enough for any Cowboy or Mountain Woman.
These tows ran during early season every year until the late 1960's.
