Yes, but some of us are using e-mail filters to help sort out
some of the unwanted messages that ivariably make their way to
the list.  Messages that follow the MEDLIB-L guidelines, as far
as making subject lines more standardized, greatly assist with
the sorting of incoming messages.  You would think that
librarians, being well-versed in the utility of controlled
vocabularies, would readily embrace this practice.
