Betty, Thus far this is what I have learned. SQL/web based databases are a coming technology for those libraries that are heavily involved with web development. I am yet not THAT knowledged on the topic, but believe I will be as soon as I see one in action and do some more reading. If I am not mistaking, this is a method of maintaining a document database that is searchable via the web. This makes life easier in that you do not have to creat seperate pages for every document, but you just have one generic web page and a database of documents which are called to the site or web page. I hope that I understand this correctly. If not, if there is anyone out there that is willing to correct me, PLEASE DO. I am interested in this technology and how it works.
