Address correction and deadline change for the Spring CE course in
Natchez, MS April 24
All LA/MS medical and biomedical librarians invited: 4 hour MLA CE
course titled "Ethics in Health Sciences Librarianship" will be
presented by Dixie Jones, Assistant Professor and Head of Reference
Section at Louisiana State University Medical Center Library in
Shreveport. Registration fees: $25.00 for Health Sciences Library
Association of Louisiana members and Biomedical Librarians of
Mississippi, $35.00 for non-members of either group, $15.00 for library
students. Registration includes a buffet lunch at the Lady Luck Casino
Hotel, site of the program. Conference registration begins at 9:00 am
and the course begins at 10:00 am. This course has been approved by MLA
for 4 CE credit hours. Reserve your spot by Thursday, April 9 with
payment due by April 20, 1998.
