We are considering offering 24-hour access to medical, allied health, and
graduate students to the Learning Resources Center (LRC). To do this, we
plan to install a "control access system". This would give students
access to study space and computing area...not materials.

In order to cut down on the number of id cards students carry, we'd like to
use their present, bar coded id card.

What experiences to any of you have to share about how you provided 24 hour
access to students and what systems you found to be effective and
affordable?

Thanks for your insights.
