ACROSS ST LAWRENCE VALLEY AT TIME.

FEW SHOWERS ACROSS NORTH VERMONT. NEXT SLUG OF SIGNIFICANT RAIN
ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS AND MOVING NORTH...EXPECTED IN SOUTH VERMONT
08-09Z AND CANADIAN BORDER 11-12Z.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS YESTERDAY APPEAR TO BE MAINLY 1/2 TO JUST OVER 1
INCH. TWO DAY TOTALS ON THE ORDER OF 3/4 TO 2 INCHES. FFG STILL
ABOUT 2 INCHES IN 3 HOURS.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS TODAY EXPECTED TO BE HEAVIEST ACROSS E VERMONT AND
POINTS EAST. AMOUNTS SHOULD BE IN THE 1/2 TO 1 INCH RANGE WITH
PERHAPS AN INCH AND A HALF EAST VERMONT. RIVERS AND STREAMS SHOULD
BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS.

LOW PRESSURE CLOSED OFF THROUGH H5 WILL DRIFT BACK NORTHWEST THIS
FORECAST PERIOD AND WILL BEGIN TO ENTRAIN SOME DRIER AIR DAY 2.

APPEARS HEAVIEST RAIN WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING THROUGH EARLY
AFTERNOON JUST AHEAD OF 55 KT H8 JET WHICH WILL CUT ACROSS FAR EAST
FORECAST AREA THIS AFTERNOON.

AIRMASS MORE UNSTABLE TODAY...CAPES 400 TO 600 AND SO THERE MAY BE
SOME ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT.

RAIN CUTS OFF LATE IN DAY AND SOME FOG EXPECTED OVERNIGHT WITH SOME
