The NCH Healthcare System is located in Naples, Florida, and consists of two
acute care hospitals and a wide variety of healthcare services.  Our
southwest Florida location is an ideal spot to work and live.  The tropical
climate provdes warm weather year round, abundant outdoor activities, and
close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico.  There is no state or city income tax.

We are seeking a medical librarian to head library services at the William
J. Bailey, M.D. Library, located at Naples Community Hospital.  The library
serves a medical staff of 415 physicians, allied health personnel, and
employees of the NCH Healthcare System.  Library staff consists of one
professional librarian and one full-time library clerk.  The librarian is
responsible for financial planning, marketing library services, reference
assistance, bibliographic searching on the Internet and other varied
databases, end-user training, document delivery and interlibrary loan,
collection development, cataloging, book and journal purchasing system-wide,
and meeting room scheduling.

REQUIRED: ALA accredited MLS, experience with MEDLINE and DOCLINE, minimum 2
years experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and
customer service orientation.  PREFERRED: Knowledge of OVID, QuickDOC, and
various online systems.  SALARY: Minimum $32,400 dependent on qualifications
