Help! I recently weeded our book collection, discarding texts that were
10 years old and older (some exceptions were made, of course). I seem
to remember reading somewhere that 10 years was the "magic number" in
terms of weeding for medical libraries. I now need to refer to a
published guideline that will support my action. My goodness, this
sounds rather unprofessional!

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be eternally
grateful.
