Position Vacancy - Learning Resources Center Librarian

Bassett Healthcare is seeking a librarian with expertise in electronic
information resources to provide leadership in planning, evaluating and
selecting resources and to coordinate the maintenance of public access
workstations in the Library’s Learning Resources Center.

This position provides user support in the Microsoft Office products,
especially PowerPoint and Word, OVID, PubMed and Netscape; advises on
purchases; manages the Library’s journal collection – print and
electronic; assists in development of the Library’s web site; and acts
as part of a 3 person team to provide information services.

Qualifications include an MLS from an ALA accredited school, experience
with maintaining public access workstations, and knowledge of computer
hardware and software applications.  Good communications skills and
commitment to customer service are necessary.

Salary range: beginning $30,000
