What struck me as unusual is that the Hospital Administration lends itself to such suble and not so subtle pressure from Committee members. My personal experience is that one has to be warry of anything that sounds as complaints and being percieved as "not a team player". So it all dpeends on knowing one's limitations, and the "corporate culture" or where the "toes" are (avoid at all costs...). Enjoy the compliments, you most probably deserve them and more, and don't take budget cuts or "no" as a personal adffront - the Library, after all, is not "yours", you just work there.
