Dear all,

while looking for some information on BaSO4 standard materials other
than NBS 127 (and with lower 18/16 O ratio), I came across a brief
discussion in the IsoGeoChem archive, dating from July 1997. It was
said there that BaSO4 with low delta values for S and O was being
prepared and was to be handed over to IAEA soon. Does anyone know
whether the material is now available, maybe as intercomparison
sample, or does anyone other than IAEA have such a BaSO4 ? (We are
currently trying to prepare the delta 18 O(sulfate) offline and seem
to get very good reproducibility on seawater sulfate, but it is all
rather pointless without comparison with other materials...)

Many thanks,

Frank Pawellek
