Matt Duffy is probably the expert on this issue, but it sounds like you're
looking for a place like Smuggler's Notch.  They are well known for their family
friendly atmosphere and activities.  They have a wide variety of terrain for all
abilities and include some genuinely big mountain skiing on the main mountain of
the three there (Madonna).  Finally, much of the reason they are so family
friendly is that their prices are quite reasonable (or is it the other way
around?).  Anyhoo, Smuggs sounds like your place...
