I "met" lister Denis Bogan on rec.skiing about 5 year ago, 20 minutes before
the crap/content ratio went critical. Haven't looked back.

First FTP download for me was ca. 1990- before MOSAIC & well before the web.
(And it wasn't naughty pictures, neither! ;-)
