Of all the 50 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands and American Somoa, Vermont, according to the Department of Health and Human Services, has the lowest number of births per thousand teenage girls. The numbers are, for the age group 15 to 19, 26.9 per thousand and for the age group 15 to 17, 12.1 per thousand. These numbers are significantly lower than the rest of the country. I guess after a day of skiing VT teens are too tired for other things.
