Mail-Via Keyword

Mail-Via= DISTRIBUTE | Direct

This keyword is not available in LISTSERV Lite.

The default value is "Mail-Via= DISTRIBUTE".

"Mail-Via= Direct" causes LISTSERV to ignore the DISTRIBUTE algorithm and send all mail through the local SMTP server. "Mail-Via= DISTRIBUTE" causes mail to go out on the DISTRIBUTE backbone.

This keyword should generally only be used by the site administrator to troubleshoot delivery problems.
