Subject: Free Tickets for Oct. 5 Show and List of Audio Described
Performances Fall 2007

Hello Marsha,
I hope you are well and settling into the Fall semester! I'm writing to
let you and the ACCESS office know about some upcoming audio described
performances. (List is attached). As you may know, the Vermont Council
of the Blind has been working to get audio description in cinemas and
theatres throughout the state.... We're making progress! A brochure that
explains audio description is available (though not yet electronically
but I'm working on this) if you would like some for the ACCESS office.
One of the challenges is that people with vision impairments don't
easily access info on a bulletin board! So if you wouldn't mind
forwarding this to others on your team who may be able to check in with
students individually or send it to them via e-mail, that would be great.

Also, the Vermont Council of the Blind is sponsoring tickets for the
Friday, October 5th performance at the Flynn (see details below). We are
hoping this will be an opportunity for people to both enjoy the theatre
as well as to connect with other younger visually impaired peers! Please
pass the word along.
Thank you kindly,
Heidi Pfau
