hey guys!!
it's been a while since i've written you all but now that i'm back on
campus (i'm a peer advisor for the SESP program here at the ALANA student
center), i'm back to being a pain in your behinds! heehee
But i've got some great news! so listen up:
Sandra did some research to see what events were being held at the Flynn
this upcoming school year and one that stuck out to her (and sounds
awesome!), is a salsa band called Jimmy Bosch Salsa Band
she thought it would be cool if we all got together and had some dinner
with the band, you know, got to talk to them and stuff, and got some
discount (possibly free) tickets to the show on top of that! what a deal!
:)
so, i'd like some feedback. talk to me! :) Below is some extra info on the
band.
if you wanna give me a call, i'm now at x67829.
i hope your summer is going wonderfully!

From his pioneering work with Manny Oquendo & Orchestra Libre to gigs with
Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, Ruben Blades, Cachao, Oscar D'Leon, and Marc
Anthony, trombonist Jimmy Bosch has earned the respect of musicians and
listeners around the globe for his dynamic and expressive musical style.
with his own band, which features master Latin jazz musicians like Alfredo
"Chocolate" Armenteros and Mauricio Smith, Bosch takes the audience on a
journey from hot salsa and swinging cha-chas to sultry guajiras and
down-home Bronx-style funk. Don't miss this high-energy evening of great
Latin music!
