Hello Capstoners,
Thank you all for exemplifying the best of moral conversation principles
during our class on Monday. Harriet and I were greatly pleased with your
willingness to converse so openly about a real-life ethical dilemma: Is
it possible to create an elite professional higher education graduate
program like HESA while also taking care of the personal needs of its
various constituencies? What are the rights and responsibilities of all
the constitutencies involved in our HESA program to make sure that
everyone's voice is heard and everyone's needs are met (this includes
HESA students, professional supervisors, faculty, and all other
associates)?
Regarding our remaining class schedule, we decided that the 2nd ML paper
is due sometime between March 7th and March 14th (or earlier if you so
choose). No papers accepted later than 5pm on March 14th.
Assignment for March 3rd:
Further conversation about 2nd Moral Language.
Respond in writing to Second Moral Language Probes #1, 2, 4, and 5. Free
associate.
Also, please bring a copy of your Second Moral Language case-dilemma to
class.
We will start the class with small group conversations on your written
responses to Second Moral Language Probes.
Then we will apply 2nd ML to Harriet's case-dilemma as an example for
you to follow in your own papers.
Finally, please bring a copy of your professional Code of Ethics to
class. We will talk about these.
Harriet and I will expect that all of you will come to class fully
prepared to work off of the assignments. Thank you all for doing this.
