Hey y'all, This week the Outing Club's Social Justice team will be holding the first shop talk of the semester. Shop Talks are conversations regarding important social justice matters in the outdoors. These talks are open to all members of the club, not just leaders! This Wednesday, at 7pm, we will be having an online meeting to talk about whiteness in the outdoors. In light of recent violence against AAPI (Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders), and the ongoing battle of systemic oppression towards other marginalized groups, it is important that we address this in the realm of outdoor recreation.
