What are folks doing to get their students ready? Of course looking at the
time line this is a question about what last minute strategies are being
employed. Certainly using the New Standards Practice exam is appropriate if
you haven't already done so this year.
What are some of the different ideas schools have generated to motivate
students to give it extra effort?
How about the testing set up. I have heard various ideas from different
schools over the year, none of which I can bring to mind, but I remember
thinking - nice ideas. What is your department doing? Take a moment. If
your department has a good idea, post it. Remember this isn't a competitive
test. Its a test against a standard like the AP calculus test, not against
schools like a norm reference test. Student motivation, familiarity with
the item type and conducive testing situations all contribute to students
demonstrating what you've taught them. Share your ideas. They can help
