The National Climatic Data Center has several new or updated products to
announce. All are accessible via our homepage (http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov) or
at the specific address shown below:
2) Web page describing the January 6-9 eastern U.S./Canada ice storm and
flooding. Short narrative, radar/satellite images, etc, accessible via:
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/ol/reports/weather-events.html
3) Version 5 of the Global Summary of Day (1994-present) Dataset. 18 daily
climatic elements for about 8000 stations, accessible via:
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/ol/climate/online/gsod.html
5) Complete review of the global climate of 1997, one of the warmest years
of the century, accessible via:
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/ol/climate/research/1997/climate97.html
Also, in case you haven't noticed, our homepage system was completely
revised, with data and products now accessible through "climate, radar, and
satellite resources" as three main categories.
