Dear All,
     Tony is correct about not being being felt as a presence by the
Legislature.  It was always hard since we would call and request a hearing
and never hear back.  It was also hard since we should have just been sitting
in the State House to be seen but as volunteers the time commitment was a
problem.
     Are there capabilities for the group to hire a lobbyist?  I'm always
ashamed of Vermont for we were once leaders on getting funds and creating
facilities and in a short amount of time we became one of those states which
did little or nothing. I know we are building facilities but it is
significantly slower than other states.
