Dear friend of cycling and walking,

Local Motion is looking for a weekend staffer at its Trailside Center on the
Burlington Bikepath. We are looking for someone for September and October.
Pay is $6-8 based on experience.

As we all try to build a bike/ped movement, it is critical that we reach out
to recreational walkers and cyclists who are receptive to our message and
could get involved. Our Trailside Center is a fun, engaging way to build
our collective base of support. It is also a great avenue for promoting the
various activities, maps and initiatives of all the bike/ped organizations
in the region.

Our summer staffer extraordinaire Steph Branca has left to start a full-time
job. She collected hundreds of names on the mailing list, solicited many
donations, provided maps, air and advice to path users, and let people know
about GMBC, VMBA, LCB, the Burlington Bike Council. Does this sound like a
part-time job that fits your values? During slow times, the staffer assists
with administrative duties at the Trailside Center.

For more information, contact me via the information below. Thanks!

Happy Trails,
Chapin
