Professor Emeritus HUB VOGELMAN, former chair of the Botany Department,
was a leading figure in the research that helped brought acid rain to the
attention of the nation.  He will speak to us about the role of science in
the environmental movement.

about the efforts of the Vermont Wilderness Association to establish
