Dear Community Member,

The Vermont Scenery Preservation Council is holding a public hearing on a
Vermont Scenic Byways designation request by the Chittenden County Regional
Planning Commission for the Chittenden County corridor communities - Milton,
Colchester, Burlington, Winooski, Essex Junction, South Burlington,
Shelburne, and Charlotte - of the proposed Lake Champlain Byways. The
hearing is located at Union Station (1 Main St.) in Burlington on Monday,
February 4 at 7 p.m.

It's important to have citizens interested in enhancing western Chittenden
County's non-motorized transportation infrastructure and its intrinsic
resources represented at this hearing. If you could, please attend and
voice their support for the designating the Lake Champlain Byways. The
hearing should not go for more than an hour.

For more information call me at 872-1600 x106.
