PURPOSES OF COURSE
-develop computational strategies that are efficient, mathematically
valid, and can be generalized for larger numbers
-develop alternative algorithms, especially student generated algorithms
-develop strategies for students to practice computation through problem
solving
-develop enjoyable methods for practicing mental computation

COST
$850 includes course, materials, and 3 graduate credits
