Hi all,
This Friday there is a new student visitation day in Votey. Prospective students will be stopping by the shop and it would be nice to have some members present for this to talk about baja, etc.
On the same note, we have been offered $200 to participate in a similar visitation day with more involvement. That is, we need 6 team members to help out and possibly give tours to students on one of the following dates:
2/24
3/23
4/6
4/13
4/16
4/20
This is a good oppurtunity to get some money for the club as well as show your "Votey Pride" and give a good face to the Baja club for CEMS.
Please email me with dates you can commit to do this. It will be a 2-3 hour commitment in the morning. We need your involvement.
Also, I will be in the shop ALL day tomorrow working on the car from 10am to around 4pm. If you are around. STOP BY. At least to see the progress we have made on the car thus far this semester.
Owen and I have been putting in a lot of hours lately with no help from most anyone. This is very concerning to us seeing as we are seniors and will be leaving next year. We need to hand the reins over and want to see some interest from not only the new members, but especially the Junior members......... This club has come a long way in four years and it would be a shame to see it go down the drain so quickly. I know your schedules may be rigorous, but please make baja a priority as well.
Thank you, sorry for rambling.
