TESTIMONIALS

Craig Carter '02  LEAD has provided numerous professional opportunities and a bridge to my post-graduate education. I remain committed to LEAD to ensure that scholars who come after me have a similar experience. Craig is currently pursuing a JD/MBA at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to matriculation to Penn, Carter served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategic Planning for Urban Prep Academies, a non-profit organization that operates a network of Charter Schools for Boys. He also served as Director of LEAD's Northwestern University Summer Business Institute for many years. Yuen Yee Wong '08-09 Before attending LEAD, I had little idea of what engineering was. Learning about sustainability projects for developing countries sparked my passion for engineering. Currently I am part of an engineering group at the University of Michigan, Woven Wind, developing a wind turbine for Guatemala. Without my experience in LEAD, I would have not easily found my passion for global engineering. Yuen-Yee currently attends the University of Michigan and is pursuing an engineering degree.   Joslyn Massengale '03 LEAD has become an invaluable part of my life since I was introduced to the program in high school. LEAD was the beginning of career and academic opportunities that have positioned me for success. Joslyn graduated from Harvard University in 2012 with her Juris Doctorate. Prior to attending Harvard, she attended Stanford University where she graduated in 2008 with a degree in International Relations and Arabic.
