(This message replaces one attempted yesterday and contains a less than
megabyte handout by reducing the photo size and its making the handout over
9 megabytes.)

Good Day:

Attached please find the updated (with new photo by Lee Krohn) handout
inviting you to the Embrace the Roundabout Workshop with presenter Mark T.
Johnson, PE., principal of MTJ Engineering, Madison, WI.

Note the roundabout benefits--reduced delay for all, about 90% cut in fatal
crashes (all modes in single laners!), slashes about a third of all
pollutants and gas use at intersections, increases land use densities, and
beautifies!

Designed for engineering, policy and community leaders alike, topics range
from the ABCs of roundabouts to mini-roundabouts and a case analysis of a
Burlington intersection.

Please encourage anyone from regional planning staff and Transportation
Advisory Committee (TAC) members to town engineers and elected officials to
attend. Note the senior and student discount.

   Yours truly,

    Tony Redington
Steering Committee Member, Neighborhood Planning Assembly 2/3
    Burlington

PS The handout minus the photo is posted on my blog.
