Fall 16:

Wilderness First Responder – HLTH 051A (CRN 94041) – Tuesdays 1:15 – 4:15
Note: this is a new schedule – one three hour class per week, plus three Saturday Field Days and one evening class (TBA)

Emergency Medical Technician – HLTH 053B (CRN 94043)
Note: individuals getting their WFR certification through IREMS/SOLO can upgrade to Wilderness EMT upon completion of their EMT license.

EMS Teaching Assistant – we will offer a three credit TA program each semester; please contact me directly if you are interested.
Winter Session 17:

Wilderness First Responder – HLTH 051A (CRN ?????) – 1/2/17 – 1/11/17 (no class 1/10); 8:30 – 5:00
Note: this class can be taken for three academic credits and certificationOR certification only.

Note: this is RSNR course and preference is given to students in that college.

I am exploring the possibility of offering a WFR Travel Course during Spring Break – feel free to send me a note if you are interested and ideas of a good destination – my thoughts at this point are Yellowstone or Key
West.

Note: individuals getting their WFR certification through IREMS/SOLO can upgrade to Wilderness EMT upon completion of their EMT license. We offer the course with two schedules, with classes beginning the first week of the
Summer Session and ending mid-June. One class will be delivered Monday – Thursday for four weeks, the other Friday eve/Saturday/Sunday for five weeks.
I remain committed to support the Outing Club by delivering quality training programs and opportunities for student development as instructors and leaders. Please keep in mind that this type of training is more effective with smaller
classes. The limit for all IREMS courses will be 24.
