Umiak Outfitters is looking for an enthusiastic, part-time, seasonal, sales associate to help sell and buy outdoor paddling gear and accessories. All candidates should be
upbeat, outgoing and passionate about the outdoors. Canoe, kayak and stand up paddle experience would be helpful but not required. The is a seasonal, part time position, with year round potential. 3 or 4 days a week with some week ends. Salary will be based

Program Staff and Reservation Staff
Full time seasonal. Looking for dynamic, outgoing, positive people to join our Program Sales and Reservations Desk. You may spend some time as a guide or instructor. You need
great organizational skills and the ability to get the details right. If you like a fast paced, fun environment where every day is different, you may love working for us. Computer skills required. Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
Are you looking to enjoy your summer and get paid? Umiak Outdoor Outfitters is hiring canoe kayak and SUP enthusiasts with great customer service to work at out Lake Outpost
on North Beach (Burlington) or Waterbury Reservoir
(Waterbury) Typical day is 9 or 10 am to 6 pm renting boats at the waterfront. Training starts in Late May into June, the season typically runs through June, July and August. All
staff must have ACA, First Aid and CPR certification by May 25th. We are looking for a commitment for the summer.

Must have clean driving record and reliable vehicle to travel from Stowe to Waterbury

Job requires standing all day, ability to lift a 65 lb boat and carry it by yourself

Shuttle Driver/ Kayak, Canoe and SUP Instructor/Guide:
Umiak Outfitters is looking for qualified drivers to shuttle for our river trip programs. We are looking for people passionate about kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddleboarding
who want to get ACA (American Canoe Association) certified as well as obtain their commercial driver's license. River trips run 7 days a week with custom program boat drop offs throughout the summer. If you are looking for a great job experience with enjoyment
and perks, Umiak should be atop your list. Training starts in April with work starting in May. We are looking for a commitment for the summer.

Umiak Outfitters of Stowe Vermont has opportunities for outdoor recreation students, seeking trip leading/guiding hours for outdoor programming. Umiak Outfitters has been a leader in Vermont for over 20 years, providing day and night time tours to thousands
clients.

Assist in guiding groups of 4-14 on 30 min to 4-hour day and nighttime Snowshoe, Extreme Sledding, X-Country / Backcountry Skiing and Boarding, and Dog Sledding adventures.

Develop programming skills, trip planning, and equipment maintenance, trail building and maintenance, food preparation, emergency protocol, and more.

Assist in Special Event Programs: Snowshoe, Extreme Sled, and Ski Demo's

Assist in planning and facilitating custom programs.

Must tours operate on evenings, weekends and holidays.
