Chittenden County Transportation Authority Offers Bike Lockers to Community

Burlington. VT - Ten bicycle storage lockers are now available for rent
adjacent to Union Station at One Main Street. The Chittenden County
Transportation Authority received a Federal Transportation Enhancement Grant to
fund the lockers and to make them available for the public to use.

Rental of the lockers will be handled by c.b fitness at Union Station, the
health club located on the waterfront, on the lower level. c.b fitness is open
Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 8:3Opm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The
lockers can be rented by the day. week or monthly by calling c.b fitness at
(802) 864-2348.

The new bike lockers at Union Station will help the community make the
connection between travel modes so they can choose alternate forms of
transportation. CCTA buses also have bike racks on the front of each bus to
further create the link between bicycles and buses.

The Chittenden County Transportation Authority operates Burlington's public
transit buses.
CCT A has a thirty-eight bus fleet which services Burlington, Essex, Shelburne,
South Burlington and Winooski. For more than twenty-five years, CCTA has been
serving Chittenden County and strives to promote transportation alternatives to
the automobile.
