This memorial news arrived in my mailbox today.

I should note that Henry Bliss, the first recorded North American traffic fatal
victim, was apparently a Vermonter.  I will attempt to research this connection
later this afternoon.

I am not sure what kind of action we might undertake in Burlington, perhaps a
critical mass ride and some kind of dead-body-outline road grafitti ceremony. I
invite suggestions about what we might put together in 24-48 hours, starting
Sunday night.
